How I save £1929.00 a year on Mani-pedis by doing them at home! ALMOST A TWO GRAND SAVING!!

Home mani-pedi that costs me around £43 per year!
Cost breakdown:
24 pack basic nail files £4
2 x Pink Varnish by collection £6
2 x Top coat by collection £4
Dead sea salts for the year £6
12 x cutical shaper sticks £1
2 x Foot cream (body shop) £6
2 x Exfoliator washes £4
3 x Pumice Stone £6
3 x handcream £6

I do this once a week, every week so I always have basic cute and clean nails. Its a pretty basic paint treatment, Just file the nails round and paint, before that shape the cuticals.
I pumice stone my tooties, soak my feet in warm water with a few pinches of dead sea salt in there, followed by a gentle foot exfoliation and foot cream.
With my hands its the same nail treatment, but I add in a good handcream

For the exact same treatment at A local salon I would be looking at £38 a week. (£1976.00 a year!!!)
You could argue that "Well you wouldnt go to a salon once a week?" but my answer to that is that I actually like having my feel looking nice and painted once a week. I dont think thats a lot of upkeep or going beyond the boundaries of a basic weekly treatment. Loads of women I know go and have this done weekly or bi-weekly.

Now granted, going to a salon and getting your nails done along with a good treatment is a lovely feeling, and it may even take a little longer to do them yourself, but almost two grand on it. No thats not something I am even close to willing to do.
